The Digital Dan:

Another recording from the "Drive Till You Die" tour that captures the boys in the Scotland.  The sound is pretty good, a bit distant but you can still hear all the instruments clearly.  The concert on a whole is very listenable, especially at high volumes.  For some reason shows like this sound better loud than at low volume levels.  There isn't an excessive amount of tape hiss, so the highs are quite clear and accurate.  The dynamic range and stereo separation overall have been increased during remastering to improve the listenability of the recording.  There are a few AFtK tour recordings available, but this one of the best I've come across yet.  If you're looking for a show from this tour, this is the show is a good choice, so is Sound and Fury.  As with all Digital Reproductions recordings, it's only available via free trade and never for sale. Just visit the trading links section to find people that will gladly trade this recording for free.

Ron's Rush RoIO Review:

This high-energy show comes from the last leg of the AFTK tour. Talk about a crowd! This audience is definitely up for this show: clapping, singing along with most songs, and just generally going nuts. The band definitely seems to be feeding off it. They take this performance just a bit further to deliver one truly inspired night. This show also features a truly great, rare live performance of "Cinderella Man." This show is a great sounding audience tape. It rivals, but doesn’t quite surpass the Palladium show from earlier in the tour for overall sound quality. It’s just a bit too trebly, and lacks the fullness of the other show. Also, the crowd comes close to overpowering the bass at times. Still, one of the best early Rush shows out there. Highly recommended!
